Thank You!

Hello!  This past week was wicked fun.  My mom came down and helped me make parts of my sister's wedding invitations and we also made 60 thank you cards, 31 for the bridal shower and 29 for the wedding.  Then my sister & her fiance came down to visit and helped assembled the finished wedding invitation and response cards. So I'll be posting lots of thank you cards in between posting new cards I make for different card challenges.
Enjoy! ~Julie

Sympathy Card

Hello!  Today I wanted to share with you a sympathy card that I created for my husband's co-worker, who recently lost a family member. The simple floral design and sentiment stamps along with the embossed background and lace ribbon makes this card elegant and thoughtful.
Thank you for stopping by! ~Julie

Birthday ~ Stamping 411

Hello! I've been busy working on my sister's wedding invitations and thank you cards for both the wedding and her bridal shower (I'll post pics soon!).  So to take a bit of a break, I decided to play with all of my new catalog products and work on a new sketch from Stamping 411.  This sketch was challenging with all of the layers but one of the great things about this site is that they give you all of the necessary dimensions, which makes the card creating process straight forward & a lot of fun.

I LOVE the new Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set and coordinating Framelits. It's one of my favorites from the new catalog. I further enhanced the sentiment by layering Midnight Muse behind it and it's wicked simple to do too! Using your Big Shot, punch out the framelit in a solid color and cut down the middle. Next split the two pieces apart and adhere each piece to the back side of the sentiment.

The new In Color Dahlia Buttons and silver mini brads make great finishing touches to this card too!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Enjoy! ~Julie
